Esther – The Lost Opera
Pentatone’s April 24 2026 release of “Esther, the Lost Opera” provides the premiere studio recording of de Hartmann’s largest and most ambitious work. The album features Maestro Kirill Karabits, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, The Grange Festival Chorus, along with a stellar vocal cast led by acclaimed soprano Corinne Winters.
A Milestone
Pentatone releases “Thomas de Hartmann Rediscoved” featuring violinist Joshua Bell, conductor Dalia Stasevska, and the INSO-Lviv Symphony performing the premiere studio recording of de Hartmann’s violin concerto. The album also includes de Hartmann’s cello concerto performed by soloist Matt Haimovitz.
